Life Story / Obituary
Elaine Hall, age 90, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at Brookside Care Center, Kenosha. Elaine was born in St. Paul, MN, November 21, 1922, daughter of the late Clarence and Anne(Nee: Broos) Davis.
On November 23, 1941 she was united in marriage to Walter Orlowski who preceded her in death, January 1, 1948. She married James F. “Jim” Hall on September 17, 1966 who preceded her in death, January 16, 2004. Elaine was employed for over twenty years at Western Publishing and was a member of the “20 Year Club”. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and sang in the choir. She was also a member at Meadowbrook Country Club. She will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who treasured time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Judith (Thomas) Witt of Kenosha, Walter (Karen) Orlowski of Park City, UT, William (Mary) Orlowski of Gilbert, AZ; 6 grandchildren, Matthew (Ellie) Witt, Mark (Kristy) Witt, Rebecca Dutter, Miranda Abouzia, Kristen (Alex) Christensen, Stephanie (Trent) Hartman; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ann Orlowski of Racine, Georgia Davis of San Antonio, TX; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Davis Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 23, 2013, 9:30 A.M. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Avenue, with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at church from 8:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 9:30 A.M. Memorials to St. Edward Catholic Church have been suggested.
