Elaine Yvonne Gegare

Elaine Yvonne Gegare, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 16, 2025 at her residence. Elaine was born in Racine on December 16, 1948, daughter of the late Robert and Dolores (nee: Dexter) Sadowski.

Elaine attended McKinley grade school and graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1967”. She was united in marriage to Leo P. Noll, who preceded her in death in 1974. Elaine was last employed with Stein’s Garden & Home and used her creativity in the floral department. In her spare time, Elaine could be found (usually with her daughter Mikki) looking for the next bargain or clearance sale in search of a gift to give one of her many family members or friends. She was a selfless kind woman whose main mission was to make others happy. Elaine loved her cats and dogs but loved her family more than anything.

Elaine will be dearly missed by her sons, Leo Noll III (Jennie Glapinski), Scott Noll; grandchildren, Rebecca Berget, Kaylie Noll and Addison Glapinski; great grandchildren, Brevyn and Daxtyn; siblings, Rich (the late Linda) Sadowski, Roberta (Milt) Sadowski, and Dennis (Tina “Merle”) Sadowski, Debbie (Greg) Lofgren, John (Michele) Wojcik; step-brothers, the late Mark (Kelly) Sadowski, Kurt (Maggie) Sadowski, and David Vallone; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Elaine was also preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle “Mikki” Gegare on March 13, 2016, her father who raised her, Adolph Wojcik, and her grandmother, Dorothy Dexter.

A Celebration of Elaine’s Life service will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 24, 2025, 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
