Elena Anguiano Velazquez, age 59, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Leon, Mexico, July 20, 1962, daughter of Martin Anguiano Rocha and Francisca Velazquez Moreno.
She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her mother, Francisca; daughter, Amalia (Benito) Saucedo; grandchildren, Leslie, Benito, Alex, Brianna and Nicole; sisters, Gracia (Jose) Mora, Berta (Emeterio) Gomez, Ignacia (Antonio) Soto; brothers, Salvador (Karen) Anguiano, Martin Anguiano (Katrinea Thorton); nieces, nephews other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Anguiano Rocha.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Elena’s life will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022, 11:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1100 Erie St. with
Rev. Jose Nieto officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Hwy. 32. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for visitation Wednesday, 9:30 AM until time of Mass at the church.
