Elizabeth A. Solberg, age 56, passed away following a courageous battle with cancer, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Elizabeth was born in Kenosha, July 8, 1957.

Elizabeth was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1975”. She was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. Her hobbies included shopping, decorating, creating beautiful ceramic artwork, and most of all spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her children, Matt (Larisa) Solberg of Cheyenne, WY, Morgan (Jess) Solberg of Racine; her grandchildren, Madyson and Caden; her mother, Marilyn Christensen; many cousins, other relatives, dear friends, and faithful companion, Casper. She was preceded in death by her father, William Christensen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 21, 2013, 11:00 A.M. at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Avenue, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Private entombment will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time fo Mass at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to St. Lucy Catholic Church or to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
