Florence L. O’Brien, age 92, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center, Mt. Pleasant. She was born in Mineral Point, WI., September 5, 1933, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Nee: Schweitzer) Mick.

On November 12, 1955, Florence was united in marriage to Harold O’Brien, who preceded her in death on February 23, 2012. She was a long-time member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. She was a crafter who enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a member of various bowling leagues. It was time spent with her family that she cherished most.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her children, Deb (Lyle) Casey, Sharon (Joe) Ricchio, Steve O’Brien, Ken (Jana) O’Brien and Kim Roscizewski; grandchildren: Lyle (Thasha) Casey, Josh (Dana) Casey, Jeff (Katie) Ricchio, James (Alyssa) Ricchio, Kate (Dan) Buchholz, Jared Ricchio (Ella), Peter O’Brien, Miranda O’Brien (Ashton McCarthy), Jena (Kevin) Cluka, Staci Roscizewski (Mike Brown); great grandchildren: Easton, Gianna, Luke, Vince, Oliver, Cecily, Mariana, Declan, Jedrick and Tyler; sister, Henrietta “Hank” O’Brien, sisters-in-law, Eileen Mick and Joanne Mick; brother-in-law, Patrick “Gary” (Betty) O’Brien; nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

A Memorial Service celebrating Florence’s life will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home, Friday, February 6, 2026. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet for Visitation Friday at 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Private interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover,
