Surrounded by his loving family, George B. Boetcher Jr., age 75, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at his residence. George was born in Racine, August 6, 1938, son of the late Dorothy and George B. Boetcher Sr.

On April 4, 1959 he was united in marriage to Donna A. Chady. George was employed by J.I. Case Company for thirty years, retiring in 1992. An avid sports fan, George loved watching the Packers, Cubs, and NASCAR racing. He was quite the handyman, known for building his birdhouses, caring for his meticulous yard, and maintaining his swimming pool. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Donna; his daughters, Deborah (Michael) Silvasi, Natalie (Danny) Mudge, all of Racine; his six grandchildren, Amanda Mudge, Ronni Ann Fenkl, Danielle Mudge, Melissa Fenkl, Lindsay Silvasi, and Zachary Silvasi; 7 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Don (Bonnie) Chady, Ardyce Schuessler; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Nicholozi.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2013, 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 10:30 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M. Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
