Gerald Albert Beyer

Gerald Albert Beyer, age 85, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born in Racine, WI. March 7, 1941, the 5th of 6 children of the late Albert and Lillian (Nee: Pier) Beyer.

Jerry graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1959”. On August 4, 1962, at Holy Name Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Hughes and they were blessed with 4 sons, Steven, Thomas, Jeffrey, and Kevin. Jerry was employed by Walker Mfg for 10 years and retired from Greene Mfg after 30 years. He was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and a member of the Moose Lodge. He was an avid golfer for over 60 years and served as a Ranger at Johnson Park for 20 years. Jerry also enjoyed his time fishing, playing Sheepshead, poker, cribbage and going to the casino. Above all he treasured time spent with his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 64 years, Pat; sons, Thomas (Leigh Ann) Beyer, Jeffrey Beyer, Kevin (Olena) Beyer; grandchildren, Jordan, Peyton, Haleigh, Tyler, Nathan, Max, and Katie; sister, Barbara (Dr. Richard) Albertini; sisters-in-law, Kathy Beyer, Madonna Bahr; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave, Friday June 12, 2026, 10 am with Rev. Thomas Vathappallil officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the Mass 9-10 am.
