Gloria J. Christensen (née: Pfeiffer) passed away on June 16th, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin on August 8th, 1947, to the late William and Lillian (née: Bahr) Pfeiffer.

She was a lifelong member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. She graduated from Wm. Horlick High School and retired from Landmark Title of Racine. She loved going to Phoenix, Arizona for the winter with her fiancé, Ronald J. Despins Sr. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards, and the Green Bay Packers. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

In addition to her fiancé, she is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Vinnie) Smith of Racine, Beth (Kelly) Schweiner of Oshkosh, and granddaughter Ashley (Zac) Ottman of Winneconne, WI. She is further survived by her brother William S. Pfeiffer of Camano Island, Washington; niece Susan Pfeiffer of Camano Island, Washington; nephew William T. (Sue) Pfeiffer of New Albany, Ohio as well as many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Gwenn Pfeiffer.

Funeral services celebrating Gloria’s life will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021, 11:00 AM at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 2000 West Sixth St., with Rev. Mark Doidge and Rev. Laura Fladten concelebrating. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for visitation, Tuesday, 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. For those attending services, Please wear a mask.
