With her family by her side, Grayce Marie Christensen, age 98, passed away peacefully at her home, Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was born in Racine, February 9, 1926, daughter of the late Julius and Mary (Nee: Klein) Frank.

Grayce was a graduate of Wm. Horlick High School, “Class of 1944”. On March 1, 1946, Grayce was united in marriage to Robert Christensen who preceded her in death on October 1, 1979. In her earlier years, she was employed as a timekeeper at Young Radiator, Western Publishing and lastly as a clerk at Bendtsen’s Bakery. Grayce was an avid reader and kept active, playing tennis, swimming and taking long walks.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her children, Robin (Martin) Barker, Lee (Bonnie) Christensen; grandchildren, Sarah Christensen, Brendan (Emily) Barker; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine (Lester) Voge and brother, Herman (Lydia) Frank.

A Memorial Service celebrating Grayce’s life will be held at the funeral home, 11:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2024. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation, 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a very special thank-you to Parkview, Nelson Home Health and Compassus Hospice especially Amanda, R.N. and Chaplain Paul Ssongko.
