Guadalupe "Lupe" Becerra Solis

With her family by her side, Guadalupe “Lupe” Becerra Solis, age 54, peacefully passed away on January 9, 2021, following a strong battle with brain cancer. Lupe was born in Sante Fe, Jalisco, Mexico on February 20, 1966, daughter of Juan Francisco Becerra and Maria Del Rosario Solis,

On September 9, 2009, Lupe was united in marriage to Jeffrey L. Rogers in Racine, WI. She had been employed with Marriott Hotels for the last 10 years.

Lupe loved to cook and feed everyone at home, work, or anywhere she could. Her home cooked meals were loved by many. She was a loveable person who spread cheer where she went. She was known for her hard work and admirability and most of all her love for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Miguel Alvarez; father Juan Francisco Becerra; and mother Maria Del Rosario Solis.

Lupe will be dearly missed by husband, Jeffrey Rogers; children, Erika (Raul) Carrillo, Carlos (Katie) Alvarez, Sergio (Melissa) Alvarez; step-children; Paula (Marvin) Butler, Crystal, Barbara and Teresa Rogers; 11 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 3 brothers, 7 sisters; several brothers-in-laws and 3 sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the funeral home Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 11:00am. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am.
