Helen Ruth Hart

Helen Ruth Hart, age 90, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Oakridge Care Center, Union Grove. She was born in Withee, WI, January 5, 1936, the 9th of 9 children of the late Thorvald and Clara (Nee: Lang) Ammentorp.

On August 18, 1956, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Racine she was united in marriage to Robert L. Hart and they shared 53 years before he passed away June 10, 2010. Helen and Robert enjoyed traveling and motor homing in Wisconsin. They retired to Midway, AR for 17 years eventually moving back to Wisconsin. Helen and Robert moved to Parkview Gardens where she enjoyed her neighbors company and playing cards. Above all she treasured the time she spent with her family. She was devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her children, Paula (Denny) Albright, Kathleen Casaine, Steven (Pamela) Hart, Wendy (Matthew) Dwyer, Michael (Diane) Hart; 11 grandchildren, Jason (Jade) Rohleder (2 children), Katie (Brad) Owen (2 children), Karrie (Matthew) Rustin (2 children), Axel (Angie) Hansen (4 children), Caleb (Myka) Hart (2 children), Lindsay (AJ) Abramezyk, Rachel Cayce (4 children) (finance Matt Johnson), April (Lee) Caudle (2 children), Erin and Forge Dwyer, Austin (Lindsey) Hart (2 children); 20 great grandchildren; in-laws, Nancy Ammentorp, Cheryl (Jim) Fries; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 8 brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Friday, April 10, 2026, at 12 pm with her grandson, Rev. Matt Rustin officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 10 am until 12 pm.
