Celebrating the Homegoing of Henry Aubray Collins

Henry Aubray Collins, age 36, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Henry was born in Maywood, IL on February 25, 1985 to Henry and Nina (nee Lofton) Collins.

Henry went to elementary at Emerson Elementary and Proviso East High School both in Maywood, Il. Later, Henry would go on to achieve his GED.

Henry confessed his life to Christ during his late twenties at Rock Ages Church in Maywood, IL. Recently, Henry rededicated his life to God at Word of Life Christian Center.

Henry was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at a young age. He never complained about it. He accepted life as it came to him without question. He touched lives wherever he went with his ability to positive and humorous. He will be deeply missed. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Jane of Racine, WI; his son Jace Calvin Green-Collins; his mother Nina May Collins of Maywood, IL; his sister Hope Monique Wesley of Racine, WI; two uncles Bruce (Linda) and Lester (Tita) both of Maywood, IL; a niece Yvonne Elise Early of Oak Park, IL; two nephews Larry Frederick Early III of Norfolk, VA, Marcellus Collins of Racine, WI, special cousins: Russell (Sandra), Rondell (Diane), Brian (Debbie), Mona, Aaron (Trina),Tiana, Charles, and Desiree, Janiyah, Ke'Andre, Devarion, all of IL and a special sister Cornet; a host of other family and friends. Henry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lester and Elsie Lofton, paternal grandfather Willie Collins, his father Henry Johnson Collins, his aunts Betty Jean Kennebrew, and Rose Mae McDonald, and one uncle Russell McDonald.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 5, 2021, 12:00 p.m.; with Apostle R.L. Woods officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.
