James F. Galloway

James F. Galloway, age 86, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. He was born to the late Frank and Violet (Nee: Faultersach) Galloway on March 23, 1938.

On June 29, 1963 he married the love of his life Betty J. Galloway (Nee: Nelson). James worked at Young Radiator Company for 41 years, retiring in 2000. After graduating from Horlick High School in 1956 he enlisted in the United States Army spending 2-1/2 years in Germany.

He bowled for several sponsors from 1969 to 1989 winning a championship in 1982. He was a die hard Cub fan all his life.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Betty J. Galloway; his daughter, Dawn (Joe) Molnar; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, JoAnne (Robert) Terry; nieces, Kathy (Robert) Francour, Carol Judicki; nephew, James (Marla) Holt; further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Burdick.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, 11:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm and Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am.
