James F. Hansen

James F. Hansen, age 82, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha. He was born in Racine, August 25, 1934, son of the late Irene (Nee: Drinkwater) Petersen and Carl (Alice) Hansen and was a lifelong Racine resident.

On June 21, 1957 he was united in marriage to Betty L. Hart who preceded him in death, March 12, 2004. For many years he owned and operated James F. Hansen Mason Contracting Company. He was a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church. A hard worker, avid hunter, James also enjoyed four wheeling and had a keen sense of humor.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Debra Robuck (Tom Schonter), James (Michelle) Hansen, Charles W. Hansen, Eugene A. Hansen, Troy M. (Michele) Hansen; his seven grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Hansen, Aaron Hansen, Jessica (Rickey) Madsen Jr., Joshua and Amber Hansen; his great-grandchildren, Mariah, David, Tanner, Sean, Hailey, Michael, Madison; sister, Del (Dan) Daniels; brothers, Carl (Sue) Hansen, Hans (Robin) Hansen, Allan (Teri) Hansen, Jens Hansen; sister-in-law, Shirley (Ronald) Culp; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Cary Robuck and Scott Robuck.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at the Union Grove Baptist Church, 417 15th Avenue, Union Grove, WI. Interment will follow at the Union Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Saturday at the church from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M.
