Jean E. Stardy

Jean E. Stardy, age 87, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday December 4, 2024. Jean Evelyn Butler was born in Greene, Iowa on April 25, 1937, daughter of the late Frederick and Evelyn (nee: Henderson) Butler.

Jean was employed with the City of Racine Health Department for over twenty years. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and Big Sisters of America. In her spare time, Jean enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was a gracious, loving kind soul who willingly gave of herself to those in need. Above all, Jean will be remembered for deep love and devotion to her family.

Jean will be dearly missed by her children, Lee Stardy of Mt. Pleasant and Jill Mann (Tom Horton) of Kansasville; her sister, Lorene (Herb) Bloomer of Mt. Pleasant; sister-in-law, Marguerite Butler of El Paso, TX; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Jean was also preceded in death by her brother, Keith Butler and loving and special companion, Tony Quadracci.

A Celebration of Jeans Life will be held at the funeral home, 4:00 pm, Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Relative’s and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Tuesday, 3:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
