Jeffrey C. Coleman, age 40, transitioned from this life into Eternity on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Greater Mt Eagle Baptist Church by Pastor Keith T. Evans.

Jeffery was a kind and loving man whose infectious smile and laughter could light up any room. His warm spirit and genuine heart made him unforgettable to all who knew him. Above all, he was a devoted and loving father who would have given the world to his children. His love for them was unconditional and unwavering.

Jeffery was born on December 12, 1985, in Racine, Wisconsin, to the late Jeffery Coleman and Elenora (Williams) Morris.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Ahnesti Coleman and Promyse Thomas, whom he lovingly reared as his own; their mother, Shawnetta Thomas and her brother Shawntal Cook; his sisters, Savahna Espinoza and Tomisha Gray; his grandmother, Pinkie E. Smith; his great-aunts, Barbara Thomas, Corrine (Charles) Lima of Ohio, and Arletha Coleman of Dallas, Texas; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

He also leaves behind his lifelong friends and The Crew — the ones he considered brothers and sisters — Tifinie, Tyra, and Travell Coleman; JaVontae Peet; Shevon Smith; Krystal Ellis; Javon Fields; Antwain McIntosh; Dontae Reynolds; Dwight Wilson; and their “tag-along,” Avyonna Coleman. Their bond was rooted in loyalty, love, and years of shared memories.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents; his grandfather, Lee A. Smith; his grandmother, Jennie Mae Williams; his aunts, Daisy Turner and Mary Williams; his uncles, William “Rat” Coleman, Richard Coleman, and James “Bubba” Williams; and his cousins, Tyra Coleman and James Felix, Sr.

Funeral Services celebrating Jeffery’s life will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, February 13, 2026, at Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church, 929 State St., with Rev. Kieth Evans officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation Friday at 3;00 pm until time of service at the church.

Jeffery’s love, laughter, and light will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
