Karen (Badovski) Lukas, age 77 of Neenah, WI, passed away peacefully on March 30 at the Parkview Gardens memory care facility in Racine, WI. She was born on June 23, 1947, in Ironwood, MI to parents Thomas and Alma (Consie) Badovski. She was the cherished wife of Thomas Lukas, loving mother to Michael Isaacson and Michele (Isaacson) Chepeck and grandmother to Erika Berman, Ashley (Berman) Kusba and Shawn Berman.

She was a talented home chef and worked as a cook in Neenah for many years. She was an expert at solving crossword puzzles and a champion cribbage player. She enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with her friends and family. She had a generous and loving spirit and never met a dog or a baby she didn’t love.

She is survived by her children Michael and Michele, sons-in-law Jason (Michael) Collum and Michael (Michele) Chepeck, stepchildren Tom Lukas and Kelly (Lukas) Stokely, brother Ray Badovski, grandchildren Erika, Ashley and Shawn, great grandchildren Christopher Berman, Easton Berman and Ian Kusba, sisters-in-law Joanne Badovski and Margaret Badovski, and her adored dog Jasper. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Alma, husband Tom, brother Thomas (Jay) Badovski, and her beloved dogs Kodi and Molly.

The family extends a special thank you to the wonderful memory care staff of Parkview Gardens, and special friends Kathy Campeau and Linda Vanderhoef. The special love and care you provided is greatly appreciated and will be remembered for years to come.

A memorial service with family and friends will take place this spring. The specific date and location of the service will be announced later.
