Kathleen "Kathy" V. Paur

Kathleen V. Paur, age 75, passed away at her residence, Sunday, December 22, 2024. Kathy was born in Racine on August 7, 1949, daughter of the late Roy and Anne (Nee: Sinsky) Paur.

As an educator, Kathy was employed for thirty years with the Fond du Lac School District, until her retirement in 2000. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed all sports in general. Kathy had a great sense of adventure, loved traveling in a motor home, across the country and state parks. Kathy had a special gift for her ability to meet a stranger and become instant friends. She will forever be remembered as “Aunt Extraordinaire”, and cherished time spent with her loving nieces and nephews.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her sisters, Monica (George) Oess, Julie (John) Freres; nieces and nephews, Ryan Freres, Andrew (Katie) Freres, Daniel (Jacinda) Freres, Jonathan Oess and Andrea Oess; great nieces and nephews, Ethan, Gavin, Jameson, Eloise, Emma and Maya, and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Emily Oess.

A Memorial Service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held at the funeral home, Sunday, February 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family on Sunday at 1:00 pm until time of service. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
