Keith Jennings “Cookie” Allen, age 64 passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born in Racine, WI, December 15, 1958, son of the late Levi and Clara Mae (Nee: Scott) Allen.

Keith graduated from J.I. Case High School “Class of 1977” and he proudly served in the U. S. Coast Guard for 4 years stationed in California and Alaska. He was employed as an over the road trucker by Averitt Express, Millis Transfer, and Merchants Moving Co. He had been working the past 10 years for the City of Racine Dept of Public Works.

Keith was a longtime active member of Word of Faith Family Church where he was very devoted and protective of the church and it's members. He was trained by the FBI and worked security. He loved the congregation and they loved him. Keith was an avid dog lover who enjoyed martial arts, biking, history, fishing and dabbling with nautical knots. He was most proud of his children and seeing them grow up. He loved to sit out in the sun, enjoying the cool breeze, nature and the company of his 4-legged companion, Mr. John Wick. Keith will be remembered for his gentle spirit and demeanor, hazel eyes, sweet tooth, and his deep love and loyalty to family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his son, Sekani Allen, MD of Houston, TX; daughter, Raineen Allen of Racine, WI; sisters, Brenda Allen and Sibyl Allen; former wife and mother of his children, Erica Allen; his uncle Davis Scott; his aunt, Doris Stewart; nephews, Timothy (Amanda) Churchwell, Craig (Rikki) Allen; great nieces and great nephews, Mariah, Noah, and Isabella Allen, Amaya, Marcus, Levi, and Timothy III Churchwell; other cousins, friends and his faithful companion Mr. John Wick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Marcus and Craig; grandparent's, Mitchell and Emma (Green) Scott, Vessie Turner and Will Allen; aunts, uncles, and special cousins, Archie, Wayne, Kevin, and Artis Stewart, Donovan Sanders, Gregory and Edward Scott.

Funeral services concluded with full military honors will be held at Word of Faith Family Church, 1619 N. Newman Rd, Monday, August 28, 2023, 11 am with Reverend Manuel Lozano officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service 10-11 am.
