Life Story / Obituary
Remembering Khaliq’ Maynard Ramone Flanagan Sr.
Without warning, death plucked a beautiful flower from our garden. On September 2, 2024, Khaliq Flanagan, aged twenty-five, passed away. He was born on August 27, 1999, in Racine, Wisconsin, to Tanisha Norris and Kenneth Flanagan. As a child, Khaliq enjoyed playing basketball, riding his bike, and hanging out with his cousins and friends. Khaliq attended Case High School. After high school, he pursued his dreams of becoming a successful online gamer and was an avid player of NBA 2K, which he played with his friends. Khaliq’s other hobbies included rapping and singing, and he immensely enjoyed spending time with his family.
There was nothing Khaliq enjoyed more than being a father. On July 14, 2020, Khaliq welcomed his first child, a handsome baby boy named Khaliq Flanagan, Jr., and on August 31, 2023, he welcomed his beautiful baby girl, Kha’nijah Flanagan. His children were the apples of his eye.
