Kimberly Marie Popp

Kimberly Marie Popp, age 64, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at her home. She was born in Racine, WI, May 14, 1961, daughter of the late William and Darlene (Nee: Frederiksen) Bindel.

Kim graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1979”. She worked in the hospitality industry, most recently at The Packing House in Milwaukee and at the Potawatomi Casino. On September 10, 2024, she was married to Michael W. Scalf.

Kim enjoyed dancing, socializing, music, beaches, road trips and discovering new places. She was a Brewer Fan and had in her younger years played City League softball for Buckets Pub. When her children were growing up she taught Sunday School at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Kimberly will be remembered for her sense of humor, her kind and loving heart, her love of animals, and her love and dedication to family and Friends. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her husband Michael; daughters, Faryn Dacquisto (Brian Hart), Mihaela Popp and husband Wess Marek; son Dylan Popp; grand-dogs, Alvin and Stormy; nieces, Brittany and Caitlin Bindel; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Todd William Bindel.

A private family life celebration will be announced at a later date.
