Life Story / Obituary
Lois J. Wandfluh, age 94, passed away on Saturday evening October 17, 2026 at her residence. Lois was born in Evansville, WI on July 10, 1932, daughter of the late Lewis and Pearl (nee: Sperloen) Spencer.
Lois was a proud graduate of Evansville High School “Class of 1950”. On July 13, 1957, she was united in marriage to Wesley P. Wandfluh. They raised three children, Kathryn, Michael and Steven, and shared thirty-three beautiful years together before Wesley passed away in 1990. Lois was employed with Moore Business Forms for nearly twenty-five years before retiring. Lois enjoyed traveling especially to exotic and beautiful beaches. She often traveled with her family but was known to be adventurous and ‘go it alone’. Lois had a creative flair and was an accomplished seamstress. In her spare time, Lois loved to golf and actually had a “hole-in-one” at Windy Acres Golf Club. She also enjoyed cooking, especially lasagna, lefse, duck, pheasant, venison, trout and anything that the kids brought back from fishing and hunting. Lois was a lifelong Republican and a proud supporter of Donald J Trump. Above all, Lois was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was very dedicated to her family.
Lois will be dearly missed by her children, Kathryn (Donald) Wells of Versailles, KY, Michael (Joy) Wandfluh, Steven Wandfuh, all of Monroe; grandchildren, Heather (Dan) Purcell, Megan Wandfluh and Jack Wandfluh; along with 2 great-grandchildren, Bella and Oliver Purcell; a sister, Dorothy Thorsland and a brother, Gerald Spencer.
Private family services will be held with interment at Maple Hill Cemetery, Evansville.
The family extends a special thank you to St Clare Friedensheim’s staff and SSM Health Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
