Louisa Maria (Castaneda) Adsit

Louisa Maria Adsit, age 79, passed away peacefully at her residence, October 15, 2024. She was born in Pearsall, TX, January 9, 1945, daughter of the late Pablo and Francisca (Nee: Placencia) Castaneda.

Louisa was a graduate of Wm. Horlick High School, “Class of 1964”. She enjoyed working and was employed by Wisconsin Natural Gas for 30 years until her retirement in 2001. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Above all it was time spent with family that gave her most joy.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her children, Hank (Lisa) Hermosillo, Natalie (Jason) Caspers, Christina Adsit, Desiree Adsit; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Ramirez, Paul (Lupe) Castaneda, Jesse (Martha) Castaneda, Mary Malacara, Rudy Castaneda, Yolanda Castaneda (Charles Corrie); sister-in-law, Helen Castaneda; nieces, nephews other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded in death by her siblings, James Castaneda, Micaela (Lupe) Jimenez, sister, Victoria (Amado) Barela; in-laws, Art Ramirez and Rosa Castaneda.

Funeral services celebrating Louisa’s life will be held at the funeral home, 1:00 pm, Monday, October 28, 2024, with Rev. John Dingman officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy.32. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation, Monday 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
