The beautiful soul of Lucy E. Conner was born to the parents of Rosie Purdy and Willie Conner Senior in Charleston, Mississippi on October 08, 1943. This southern woman loved her blue music, she was the life of the party, heart of the family and the glue that held everyone together. She had the strength of Goliath all the way to the end as she gained her beautiful wings and joined her family in the heavenly skies.... Martha Conner, Beatrice Stewart, Rowena Smith and Willie Conner Jr. Lucy Conner was also loved from her siblings from a previous marriage....Alina, Bae-Bae, John Eddie, Macon and Leroy Conner.
As a woman growing up she worked hard all her life to provide for her children whom she leaves behind Larry Conner, Sherry Conner, and Tylessia Scurlock a host of neices and nephews, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren who all loved her dearly. "G-G" was the queen to us all she made sure everyone was taking care of, from Sunday morning breakfast, home-made biscuits and salmon croquettes at granny house, to providing a home a safe haven to whoever needed it. She opened her heart and home to those in need, she may have given you a few choice words of wisdom, but it was all out of love. Lucy Conner will be dearly missed but she left her mark on everyone's heart. She will not be forgotten as her memory and legacy lives on through us all. Loving you forever and a day until we meet again.
