Lyle Rosman

Lyle J. Rosman, age 88, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Froedtert Wisconsin Medical College of Wisconsin. Lyle was born in Racine July 30, 1936, son of the late Ralph and Esther (Nee: Christensen) Rosman. Lyle graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1954” and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge in January of 1957.

Lyle and Sharon Michaels were married November 23, 1957, in Racine.

Surviving are daughters, Dana Rosman and Gail Rosman (Kevin Krasny); grandchildren, Lauren Moes, Katherine Syzmandera (Dayne), Nick Moes; great grandchildren, Lily and Tennison Harrop, Tatum and Lake Syzmandera; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sharon; brother, John Strauss; sisters, June Danake and Jean Strauss; and in-laws, Charles and Betty Michaels.

Private interment with full military honors were held Friday, May 9, 2025, at West Lawn Memorial Park.

The family thanks “The Daily Gang” at McDonald’s along with any “Drop Ins” for their friendship. Special thanks also go out to Lyle’s neighbors for their kindness and help when needed. Special thanks also to Carol and Guenther Lippold who were always there for Lyle and his family.
