Mamie Lou Louis

Mamie L. Louis, age 95, was called home to Jesus on June 2, 2023. Born in Mississippi

February 26, 1928, daughter of the late Emma Lou Foster and John McKinley Dillard, she resided in Racine for most of her life.

Mamie created a thriving house cleaning business, working for many Racine area families for years. Her reputation preceded her. Mamie lived a long life, filled with love, always laughing and sharing her joy.

Those privileged to know her, all loved her.

Preceding her in death, her beloved fiancé, Bill, her favorite Aunt Lula and her dear friend Mary. Left to treasure her memory include her 'adopted' family, Barbara, Marla, Marilyn, Karen and their families. To all the staff at Elizabeth Gardens, a very special Thank You for the excellent care and kindness over the past five years. Your love for Mamie will never be forgotten. Private services to be held.
