Manuela Davila Rivera, age 95, passed away peacefully with her family by side, on Monday July 13, 2020 at her home. Manuela was born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico on New Year's Day in 1925.

In 1945 Manuela was united in marriage to Juan Cruz Lozada. They were married for 41 beautiful years, before Juan preceded her in death on August 12, 1986.

Manuela was an excellent and amazing mother and grandmother who devoted her life not only to her family but to God as well whom she served for 50 plus years of her life. Manuela loved to cook, worship, be of service to her church and to her community. She loved to travel and visit family and friends between Puerto Rico, Wisconsin and New York which led her to meet numerous people. From being an only child, she got to live and witness 5 generations. She will always be remembered for being a great woman, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and a servant of God. She was truly loved.

Manuela will be dearly missed by her children, Sonia (Juan) Rosado, Carmen Julia (Materno) Davila, Juan Cruz(Sylvia), Jaime Cruz (Olga), Angel “Wiso” Cruz , Hugo Cruz (Yamaris Colon), Jahira Cruz(Juan); grandchildren, Nayda, Juan Carlos, Alexis, Carmen, Juan Jose, Onix, Henry, Richard, Dianette, Angel Luis, Miguel Angel, Angel Manuel, Juan Angel, Yashia, Jarilys, Anadeliz, Yanetzy, Weena (Bobby), Brillo, Caryn, Myrna (Carlitos), Ruty, Limaris, Nidia, Diberka and Diana; and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Manuela was preceded in death by her mother Faustina Davila Rivera and her husband Juan Cruz Lozada.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday July 17, 2020 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Her funeral service will start at 12 p.m. noon, with Rev. Weena Villarreal officiating.
