Marcia Amber Ruiz - Varnado

Marcia Amber Ruiz, age 33, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 16, 2021, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born in Kenosha, WI, July 9, 1988. She grew up in Kenosha and attended Mary D. Bradford High School.

Marcia enjoyed dancing and in her youth, had danced with the Drill Team Dreamers. Above all she treasured the time spent with her family especially her children. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her mother, Maria Ruiz; her 4 beloved children, Zerryah Ruiz, Eliannah Ruiz-Carter, Julon Ruiz, and Malia Ruiz; siblings, Monea, Carlos and Mya Coopwood, Jovita, Hughlett, Naktina, Nate, Tatyana, Aaliyah, and Jared Varnado; her stepfather, Dravon Thompson; other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Christobal Ruiz Jr., Beverly Eskola; and great grandmother, Maria Jesus Ruiz.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Friday, July 30, 2021, 7 pm. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 5-7 pm.

Memorials to the family for Marcia’s children have been suggested.
