Margaret "Peggy" L. Chordegian

Margaret “Peggy” L. Chordegian, age 81, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Oak Ridge Care Center. She was born in Racine, August 20, 1944, daughter of the late Myron and Helen (Nee: Kaprelian) Chordegian.

Peggy was employed in an administrative position with the drug task force with the Racine Police Department. She was a long-time member of St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church. Peggy was passionate about collecting antiques and collectibles and had a booth at the Racine Antique Mall. She enjoyed time spent with friends, exercising and swimming at Razor Sharp Fitness as well as quiet nights watching TV.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Janet Chordegian; nephews, Nick (Kim) Chordegian, Mike (Cathy) Chordegian; cousin, JaneMarie (Jim) Schatzman, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Chordegian.

Private Services were held.
