Margaret (nee: Thomas) Mycon age 84, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 29, 2026. Margaret, who was affectionately known by all as “Pie” was born on February 5, 1941, in Hughes, AR.
Pie resided in West Palm Beach, FL and graduated from West Palm Beach High School in 1959 and moved to Chicago, IL for a few years and relocated to Racine, WI in 1967. Racine became her home where she raised her children.
Pie was employed by Western Publishing for 10 years working in the pressroom which was primarily a job that was mainly held by men until they closed their doors in the 90s.
Pie met the love of her life, Bill Mycon, and on February 4,1994. They were united in marriage for over the course of 23 precious years as a blended family. She will be fondly remembered for her humorous and witty personality, who lived her life to the fullest. Pie loved to cook and could make a mean pan of chicken and dressing. Her love for the casinos (mainly Potawatomi) was immeasurable as well as going fishing.
Pie will be dearly missed by her daughters: Vicki (Anthony) Keith, Tekika (Brian) McGee, Laqonda (Sylvester) Johnson and Tammy (Barry) Schultz, Son: Michael (Tina) Visek. Grandchildren, Yakesha (Leon) Lezine, Brian Keith, Telithia High (Jacksonville, FL), Nicholas High (Jacksonville, FL), Latasha High, Ernest High (Baltimore, MD), Ashley Johnson (Richmond, VA), Jennifer Schultz and Joscelyn Schultz. Eight great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Honorary daughters, Ms. Ann Osborne and Leisa Adams. Dear friends, Jimmy and Georgia Smith. As well as a host of cousins, other family members and friends.
