Margueritte “Muggs” Weber, 87, was received by the Lord on Monday, May 14, 2018. She was born in Racine, WI on January 29, 1931, daughter of the late Paul and Frieda (Nee: Mundstock) Groenke. Muggs graduated from Washington Park High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to the late Robert W. Weber on June 30, 1951.

She was also preceded in death by her three sisters, Laverne (Joseph) Szalay, Ruth (Bart) Kannenberg and Evie (Ed) Proska.

Muggs is survived by her three daughters, Sandra Weber, Kay (Dave) Tobias, and Kim Weber; her grandchildren, Heather Baker, Kristen Baker and Nick (Megan) Uhlenhake; great-grandchild, Weston; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and friends.

She was an active member for many years of Grace Lutheran Church. Muggs was an avid card player, being quite accomplished in Bridge. Her other pastimes included golfing, dancing, drawing, traveling and watching old movies.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 18, 2018, 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Brian Crane officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Following the service, interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Grace Lutheran Church or to the National Spasmodic Torticollis Association.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at the Woods of Caledonia and the amazing people at Hospice Alliance for their loving and compassionate care.
