Marianne Taylor

Marianne Taylor, age 79, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born in Clinton, IA, July 10, 1944, daughter of the late Arnold and Marion (Nee: Kennedy) Reistroffer.

Marianne attended Sacred Heart School and Clinton High School. She was a lifelong resident of Clinton moving to Racine, WI ten years ago to be near family. Marianne was very spiritual and was dedicated to praying the Rosary. She lived her life caring for others and enjoyed discussing politics and the news. Above all she treasured the time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her children, Deborah (Don) Fowlkes, Daniel (Shelley) Rarden, Denette (Scott) Stratman, Dana Rarden (Jeremiah Kennedy); 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lois Reistroffer; 2 stepchildren; nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald V. Taylor; her brothers, Navy Chief Petty Officer James Reistroffer, Cpl Daniel Reistroffer U.S Army, KIA Vietnam; and a stepdaughter.

Inurnment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Dover, WI on Friday, July 12, 2024, 2:00 p.m. A family celebration will be held on Saturday July 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at 1407 Meadow Lane Mt. Pleasant, WI 53406.
