Marilyn M. Corona, age 91, passed away on Wednesday November 9, 2016, at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Hospital in Franklin, WI. Marilyn was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 20, 1924, daughter of the late Edward and Theresa (nee: Heppe) Feider.

On September 23, 1950, she was united in marriage to Joseph Corona, and shared fifty-two years together before he preceded her in death on September 23, 2002. In her younger years, Marilyn was employed with Schlitz Brewing Company and was last employed with Jacobsen Mfg.

Marilyn will be sadly missed by her children, David Corona of Richmond, VA, Janet Corona (Richard Pionke) of Brown Deer; sisters, Sr. Lenore Feider of Elm Grove, Charlotte Molter of Greendale; sisters-in-law, Florence “Dolly” Staats of Kenosha, Catherine “Katy” DeRose of Racine, Bernice Corona of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Joseph Corona.

A service celebrating Marilyn’s life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 18, 2016, 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials to Friends of the Greenfield Public Library or the School Sisters of Notre Dame Retirement Fund have been suggested.

The family extends a very special thank you to Marilyn’s sisters, Sr. Lenore and Charlotte for their loving care and support not only to Marilyn but Janet as well.
