Marilyn Ruth Baham, born Marilyn Ruth Spoelstra on July 11, 1937, in Prairie View, Kansas, passed away on February 20, 2024, in Franklin, Wisconsin, at the age of 86.

Marilyn was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a lifelong love of music, singing in multiple groups during her college years and adulthood. Her musical skills extended to playing the piano and organ and she offered those talents to serve many churches and congregations. In her leisure time, Marilyn enjoyed hobbies such as quilting, knitting, attending musical performances, and traveling. These activities brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity and love for the arts. She made friends very easily and would often strike up conversations with complete strangers and find common interests.

She is survived by her daughters, Christy (Jarrod) Baham Erbe and Caryn Baham and grandsons Noah and Aidan Erbe who brought her great pride and delight. Marilyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Cami Baham, and her husband, Phillip Baham.

Funeral services will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 40 Ohio Street, on Saturday February 24, 2024, 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be held in Colorado. Memorials to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 40 Ohio St, Racine WI 53405 or to the Central College Advancement Office Journey Scholarship, 812 University Street, Campus Box 5200, Pella, Iowa 50219 have been suggested.
