Marion Diane Rushford

Marion Diane Rushford, age 82, passed away at her residence, on Saturday, September 10, 2026. Marion was born in Waupun, WI, December 22, 1943, daughter of the late Archie and Frances Hanson.

Marion received her degree as a registered nurse and was employed as a traveling nurse. She will be remembered for her passion for flower gardening and her love for her many dogs through the years.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her son, David Cottingham; grandchildren, Amber (Scott) Salyer, Becky (Barry) Hankel, Allen (Kara) Gunderson; siblings, Ken (Ellen) Hanson, Ron Hansen (Loretta Heinz), and Elaine Chaffee; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded in death by her husband Willie Rushford, daughter, Diana Gundeson, sisters, Donna Gerke and Hope Ann Cottingham.

A Memorial Service celebrating Marion’s life will be held at 11:30 am, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet for Visitation on Saturday at 11:00 am, until time of service.
