Corey was born in Racine on 0ctober 1,1968, to Jackie Nunn and Larry McDougal. Corey, as he was known by family and friends attended Wm. Horlick High School and graduated from J.I. Case High School. Following graduation, he served a short term in the U.S Army and had worked various jobs in the Racine area. In his younger years he played football, and in high school he excelled at wrestling and power-lifting. He still holds a power-lifting state record at J.I. Case High School. Corey was a large man of stature and had an even bigger heart to match. He used his compassion to help others as a caregiver. If he wasn’t giving you a helping hand, Corey could help you with an answer, because he was a great source of knowledge, like a walking encyclopedia. He also was a super fan of the artist Prince and was a great cook. Above all, Corey loved his family, especially his children, and will be best remembered for his great love and devotion to his family and friends.

On Wednesday Oct 10, 2023, at Ascension All Saints Hospital, he was called to his eternal home to join his parents. He leaves to cherish his memories his precious children whom he adored the most; his daughter, Sharlacia McDougal and son Marshall McDougal both of Racine ,WI; 3 sisters, Andrenetta "Angie" Nunn, Cadijah Watson of Racine, WI, Mageles Cornelius of Tupelo, MS; 2 brothers Steven Chatman and Kehinde McDougal of Racine WI; 4 nieces, Tashi Hill, Tatrianna Hill, Maylasia and Malaeia Watson all of Racine; 3 nephews, Tyrann Mosley, Malachi and Stephon Watson of Racine, WI; stepmother, Rossie McDougal of Oxford MS; godmother, Dorothy Nunn of Racine; godsons, Omarion and Lamar Clemon; 8 aunts, Dorothy Nunn, Shirley Nunn of Racine, Robbie Shaw and Sandra Lyons of Phoenix AZ, Sarah Edmond of Cincinnati OH, Ruth Brown of Brownsville TN, Shirley Claybrooks of Maury City TN, Yvonne Smith of Lexington, KY; 5 uncles, Mike Nunn of Kenosha, WI, Bobby Nunn of Racine WI, James (Nancy) McDougal of Racine WI, Wardell Golden of Sturtevant, WI, Welton McDougal of Powder Springs, GA; special friends, Ebony Canady, Frances Hastings, Kimberly Cameron, Robert Bouie, and Lloyd Brooks; also a host of cousins and other friends too many to name.
