Martin Friedrich

Martin Friedrich, 82, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. He was born on June 27, 1943 in Germany, born the son of Jakob and Agnes (nee Laudenbach) Friedrich. He has three children; Wendy, Jeff and Stacey. Marty worked at Jacobsen in Racine as a welder and moved to Necedah for retirement. Marty had a independent-competitive spirit and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, soccer, and bowling. Marty's combined honesty and jack-of-all-trades skills helped family and many friends. He was a loyal and life-long friend to his childhood friend Jerry Klauser. He suffered from severe dementia disease later in life, but was very aware close to the end. Thank you to Gerhard and Terri, his brother and sister-in-law, for all their efforts. We also very much appreciate those at Franciscan Villa and hospice for taking care of Dad. Marty made many friends at Franciscan who made him happy. Dad you had a big-soft hearted-personality and you were the life of the party. Your frank honesty and hard work ethic was refreshing in this world. Most of all Dad thank you for not manipulating anyone to take their money.
