Mary Ann Parker

Mary Ann Parker was born February 11, 1954, in Birmingham, Alabama. Mary passed away peacefully on June 27th, 2026, in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters LaTanya Parker, Kathy Parker, CaTarra Parker, Loretha Patton and Dekeithra Ward. She is also survived by her siblings James (Alice), Eddie, and Lawonda Parker. Mary leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins that will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elsie Parker and father Charlie Parker, brothers Roosevelt, Ernest, Melvin, Charles Parker, Willie Mills, sisters Ora Thigpen and Nettie Mae Bolton, and sister-in-law Sandra Parker.

Mary was a natural caregiver who spent a lifetime nurturing and looking after others, always putting the needs of her family before her own. Mary would like to extend a loving thank you to her granddaughters Catreana and Deliyah for the exceptional care they provided her with. Your daily sacrifices and countless acts of love brought immense comfort to Mary in her final days. The Almighty God has called Mary home in the painless places of heaven, so we do not feel sorrow, only loss until we are one family again.

A private burial will take place on July 7th, 2026 followed by a celebration of life.
