Life Story / Obituary
Montrail (Trail) Campbell. Age 44, Passed away January 9, 2025, with his family at his side at Froedtert Hospital. Montrail was born in Racine, WI on February 29, 1980, son of Miguel Veguilla and the late Patricia Campbell. Montrail grew up in Racine, WI. He earned his high school equivalency diploma from Gateway Technical College in 1999.
Montrail had a passion for cooking and was currently attending college for culinary arts with large dream of wanting to open his own restaurant. Montrail worked at many restaurants in his adulthood. Montrail had a great love of music which you would often hear him singing his favorite songs. Montrail also had a great sense of humor, and he would have you laughing when you were in his presence. Above all he cherished time spent with family and friends.
He was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by his father Miguel Veguilla, sibling Magale Campbell, Metrick (Lydeilia) Campbell, Ramone Campbell and Micaela Campbell. Step siblings Matthew, Natalie, Janeen and Joseph. Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins and dear friends.
Montrail was preceded in death by his grandmother Hazel Campbell, mother Patricia Campbell. Grandfather Maximino Veguilla Colon, Uncles Syid Abdullah and Jeff Campbell. Cousin Ubaldo Gonzalez.
Funeral services celebrating Montrail’s life will be held at the funeral home, 11:00 am, Thursday, January 30, 2025, with Pastor James Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation, on Thursday, at 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
