Life Story / Obituary
Nancy Mary Felton, age 72, passed away at home surrounded by her family Monday, July 27, 2026. She was born in Seattle, WA on May 26, 1954, the 3rd of 10 children of the late Malcom and Maryanna (Nee:Schepka) Ferguson. Nancy’s family was from Milwaukee and moved to Racine.
Nancy graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1972”. On September 27, 1975, at St. Rita Catholic Church she was united in marriage to the “love of her life” David Michael Felton and they just celebrated their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary last year.
Nancy worked for many years at Kohls Department Store. In her pastime she enjoyed art and crafts and anything needlework. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling. Her passion was caring for children especially her children and grandchildren. She loved to bake and share with others. She will be remembered as a sweet, very caring and understanding lady who was always willing to give of herself to others. Above all she enjoyed rooting for the Green Bay Packers and treasured the time spent with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her husband, Mike; children, Brian Felton (fiancée, Theresa Alvarez), Angela Felton, Sarah (Tony) Wilkey; grandchildren, Matt and Holly Friend, Michael, Dakota, and Zachary Cornelius, Hailey Friend, Julianna, Alex, and Lucas Wilkey, and Nora Felton; her brothers and sisters, Jim (Rose) Ferguson, Doug (Judy) Ferguson, Brad (Dorothy) Ferguson, Eric (Diane) Ferguson, Margaret Lowery, Tom (Lisa) Ferguson; in-laws, Kathy Ferguson, Rachel Ferguson, Dennis (Judy) Felton, Diane Langdon Jim Pekar, Scott (Renee) Felton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Chris Friend; and brothers, Willie, Malcolm and Alex Ferguson. In-laws Arnold and Lucille Felton, Sue Pekar, Mike Langdon.
Funeral services will be held at the Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main St. on Friday, August 7, 2026, 3 pm. Relatives and friends may meet with the family prior to the service 1-3 pm.
People attending are encouraged to wear Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers or Brewers
