Nell P. Buhler, age 81, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, at Aurora Kenosha Medical Center, with her family by her side. She was born in Chicago on October 1, 1942, the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Harrington.

Nell was a very talented dancer. In her younger years, she had the opportunity to study and compete across the country.

On October 6, 1962, Nell was united in marriage to William C. Buhler, who preceded her in death on May 15, 2011. Nell co-owned Dance Ltd. for many years in West Racine, sharing her passion and talent with her students; she was not only a phenomenal dancer but also an outstanding instructor and choreographer. She and her students won numerous national awards. She cherished her students and their families.

Nell also co-owned Motor Credit Corporation in Racine with her husband. She enjoyed golfing with family and close friends and was a long-time member of Meadowbrook Country Club. Nell especially enjoyed spending time up north with her family and taking pontoon boat rides.

She is survived by her children, Lynn Buhler-Brandon, (Thomas) Brandon, and Charlie (Molly) Buhler; two grandchildren, William and Isabelle Buhler; and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service celebrating Nell’s life will be held at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8th, 2024. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. The family has suggested memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society or the Wisconsin Dance Council as an alternative to flowers.

A tremendous thank you to the entire staff at Archwood Senior Living for their friendship, love and compassionate care.
