Patricia Louise Brown, age 77, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin, on April 21, 1948, daughter of the late Charles and Beverly (née Stemmer) Stublaski.

A graduate of Horlick High School, Class of 1966, Patricia was united in marriage to Benjamin F. Brown on October 15, 1977. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2023.

Patricia will be remembered not only for her incredible cooking but for her generous spirit and the way she looked out for others. She had a big heart, loved animals and gardening, and found joy in watching the birds outside her window. Over the years, she cared deeply for those around her, as a babysitter, caregiver, and dependable presence in the lives of many. More than anything, she cherished time with her family. Her absence leaves a space that words cannot fill.

She is survived by her children: Christopher (Bonnie) Christensen, Therese (Kenneth) Pratt, Cathy (Keith) Christman, and Benjamin Brown Jr.; grandchildren: Annika, Caden, Jaxon, and Leah Christensen; Troy (Chelsea) Watkins, Nathan (Paige) Pratt, Tanya Watkins, Ryan (Eryka) Christman, Adam Christman, and Nicholas (Kacey) Brown; great-grandchildren: Graycen, Aubrey E., Aubrey M., Aiden, Calum, Mona, Fallon, Callie, and Scottye Eugene; siblings: Kathleen Metz (the late David), Barbara Stublaski, Charleen (Paul) Weinfurter, and Theresa (Christopher) Walley. She is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends, including her longtime neighbor and close friend, Susan Salinas Canales. In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother Charles Steven Stublaski, sister Christine Stublaski, and her son Scott Brown.

In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, private services will be held. Entombment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In gardens she loved and tended with care,

Where hummingbirds hover and blossoms dance in the breeze,

Her spirit lingers in quiet beauty.

A presence felt, though no longer seen.

Held in our hearts, she rests in peace, surrounded by love everlasting.
