Patti Lyn Wilde

Patti L. Wilde, age 74, passed away on Friday October 13, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant. Patti was born in Racine on October 1, 1949, daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (nee: Thompson) Sakalis and had been a lifelong resident.

Patti attended Park High School and later received her GED while at Gateway and then went on to Alverno College, completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1974. She was employed as a registered Nurse with All Saints Medical Center for ten years and various other institutions, most recently with Bright Faith Senior Living where she was the Director of Nursing until her passing. Her hobbies including shopping, and crafty endeavors like beaded jewelry, stained glass and other artsy ideas including hand-made Santas featured in a shopping catalog.

Patti will be dearly missed by her children, Monica (Russ) Gossen, Geoff (Stacey) Wilde; grandchildren, Lauren (Chad) Szablewski, Madelyn Schild (Kevin Novitsky), Colten Schild, Alexander (Dr. Ashley Wilde) Wilde, Meghan Wilde and Brayden Wilde; great grandchildren, Hallie and Stetson Szablewski, Kye Novitsky and baby Novitsky soon to be born; other relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held.
