Life Story / Obituary
Paul D. Anderson, age 70, passed away Wednesday morning, June 25, 2025. Paul was born in Racine on July 11, 1954, son of the late Edwin and Cecelia (nee: Hugasian) Anderson.
Paul graduated from J.I. Case High School “Class of 1972”. Following graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed electronics theory and the education behind it and was most proud of receiving his degree in Electronic Engineering. Throughout his life, Paul enrolled in many courses and considered himself a lifetime student who in his words “to occupy his mind with secure thoughts and pleasurable anticipations”. He was a member of the First Church of God, Disabled American Veterans, and the Moose Lodge. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed his time on his ham radio with the handle KB9JPN, and visiting his friends at the Alano, the Racine Friendship Clubhouse, and various restaurants around the city.
Paul will be missed by his brother, John (Linda) Anderson; nephews, Jonathan and Jacob; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday June 30, 2025, 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Stanley Hunter officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment with Full Military Honors will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Memorials to Disabled American Vets have been suggested.
The family extends a special thank you to Grand Prairie Care in Pleasant Prairie and Kenosha Hospice for the excellent care they gave Paul during his stay.
