Paul Santo Parco, age 93, passed away peacefully with his wife at his side, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Racine, November 4, 1930, son of the late Francesco and Maria (Nee:Liuzza) Parco.

Paul graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1948”. At age 19 he built and started his own service station “Parco’s Pure Oil Auto”. Shortly after he enlisted and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 - 1954. On August 11, 1956, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Nancy L. Jacobsen and they were blessed with 3 sons, Kevin, Kent, and Kerry. Paul was an entrepreneur partnering with his brothers in the retail furniture and appliance business eventually owning and operating Taylor Avenue Furniture with Nancy before retiring at the age of 80. He thoroughly enjoyed his job and it was his love of people that kept him looking forward going to work every day for 62 years. Paul was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, who enjoyed golf and was proud of his Italian heritage. Above all he treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul was a devoted, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Nancy; sons, Kevin (Beth) Parco, Kerry (Marcia) Parco; daughter-in-law, Lori Minnetti Parco; grandchildren, Natalie (Joseph) Gilboy, Stephanie Parco (Ryan Smith); Veronica Parco, Vincent Parco; great grandchildren, Cooper and Addison Gilboy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kent; brothers, Louis (Patricia) Parco, and Frank Parco.

Private services with full military honors will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Assn have been suggested.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Leslie Bacus and Staff at Parkview Gardens and Compassus Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
