With her family by her side, Penelope “Penny” M. D’Acquisto, age 78, passed away peacefully Monday, December 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Racine, October 20, 1947, daughter of the late Norbert and Edna (Nee: Blaesing) Westrich.

Penny was a graduate of St. Catherines High School, “Class of 1965”. She devoted more than thirty years in the banking industry and was employed by Johnson Bank for many years and retiring as Vice President at Tri City National Bank.

Penny was a long-time member of St. Edward Catholic Church. She was an avid Packer, Brewer and Badger fan. Penny had a love of traveling and enjoyed her many escapes to Las Vegas and Florida, but it was the simple things in life, like extra-long bubble baths or reading a good book that brought her great comfort. Above all it was time spent with her family and especially spoiling her grandchildren that she cherished most.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her children, Gina Marie Gordon-Czechowicz (Ryan), Nicholas D’Aquisto; grandchildren, Lindsey and Alexander Gordon and Paityn Czechowicz; sister, Judith (Wayne) Hedges, sister-in-law, Lynn Westrich; her niece Michelle Hedges Winfree, nephews Jamison & Chris Hedges, Peter & Jordan Westrich, Josh & Chris Baumstark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Westrich.

A Memorial Service celebrating Penny’s life will be held at 11:30 am, at the funeral home, Monday December 15, 2025. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family on Monday at 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staffs at Ascension All Saints and Compassus Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
