Phyllis Ann Gandee

Phyllis Ann Gandee (nee: Highman) age 73 of Racine, peacefully Tuesday March 17, 2026 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. Phyllis was born in Racine on July 18, 1952, daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (nee: Verbeten) Highman.

Phyllis graduated from Wm. Horlick High School “Class of 1970”. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and playing softball. Through the years, Phyllis was employed with various area companies, most notably Surgitek for over twenty years. In her spare time, Phyllis enjoyed watching and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. She will be remembered for her wink and her great love and devotion to her family.

Phyllis will be dearly missed by her daughters, Nicole Gandee and Tamara Gandee; her grandchildren who were her greatest joy, Jade, Justyce, Austin, Brittany, Nykia, Kayla, Isaiah and Melanie; 20 great grandchildren, Johnathan, Jamariyon, Cayden, Liam, Jaliyah, Aadison, Jakobe, Miles, Jabari, Jazlyn, Avaiah, Amarley, Jayden, Dior, Rylee, Auden, Skylah, Anaya, Darrell Jr. “DJ”, and Dasani; siblings, Lorraine Zinke, Mary (Dan) Peltier, Sarah Matsen, Stephen Highman and David Highman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jerry, Tom, Roger and Janice Highman.

Private family services will be held.
