Ralph Fazzari, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Friday, February 2, 2024, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born in Racine, WI, August 30, 1929, son of the late Joseph and Pauline (Nee: Julian) Fazzari.

Ralph graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1948”. He proudly served in the U.S. Army 1948-1949. Ralph was an accomplished Bassist and went on the road with the Charles Drake Big Band eventually settling in Racine to raise his family. In Racine he played with a variety of bands including the John Bunic Big Band and on weekends at Guido’s Supper Club. Ralph owned and operated the family business American Brass and Aluminum Foundry from 1964 – 1977. He then managed a number of foundries across the country. Due to health concerns Ralph moved back to Racine 5 years ago to be close to family. He was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan and a St. Louis Cardinal Fan. In his earlier years Ralph enjoyed bowling, golf and music. He was supportive of his children’s activities serving as business manager of the Ambassadears Drum and Bugle Corps in the late 60's and early 70's and also serving on the board of the Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps in the early 70's. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his son, Joseph (Annette) Fazzari of Racine; grandchildren, Nicole (Frankie) Guerrido of Racine, Joseph (Jenny) Fazzari Jr. of Kenosha, Nicholas (Alison) Fazzari of Oak Creek; great grandchildren to whom he was known as Gpup, Kylie, Kaden, Julian, and Patricia; brother, Frank Fazzari of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law, Kate Fazzari; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Della; his daughter, Robin Rogowski; granddaughter, Patricia; siblings, Louis (Jane) Fazzari, Richard Fazzari, Angie (Jim) Burdick; and sister-in-law, Ginny Fazzari.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park, Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11 am. Please meet at the cemetery entrance. Memorials to Hospice Alliance or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have been suggested.
