Randal Milton Hansen passed away peacefully on March 17th, 2025, at his home in Racine, Wisconsin. He was born October 19th, 1954, son of the late Ronald M. and Betty C. Hansen.
He was a 1972 Graduate of Hersey High School, and in 1975 graduated from the University of Utah with an accounting degree. Randy had many interests, which included skiing, astronomy, emergency preparedness, food prep and storage, making beer, and survival preparation and skills. He enjoyed his HAM radio group and was a weather spotter along with others. Randy was involved with the Boy Scouts of America for many years, being a trainer for other Scout Leaders, and was awarded the high honor of the “Silver Beaver award”. He also had several businesses which included selling health insurance, teaching at Harper College, tax preparation, and Internet Search Engine Optimization. Randy had a wonderful ability to make friends and made a positive impact on so many lives. Randy was very involved with the Mormon Church, enjoying learning, helping others and teaching.
Randy was a devoted father, and was survived by his two sons, Eric and Christopher, their mother Kathy (Doyle) Hansen, his siblings Debra Stettin, Kathleen Larsen, Judith Hamer, and David Hansen, and many nephews, nieces and cousins. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Family, friends, and others whose lives have been touched by Randy are invited to the Memorial Service to be held at the Racine Ward at 1444 30th Ave. N., Kenosha, WI 53144 at 10:30 am on March 29th, 2025.
An additional memorial service will be held at the Norge Ski Clubhouse in Fox River Grove, IL on May 31st, 2025, at Noon.
