Richard Allen English passed away on May 16, 2016, about 8 pm. in his group home in Racine, WI. He would've been 71 years old coming this November 2026.

He was born on November 20, 1955, in Libertyville, IL. and grew up throughout his childhood in Highland Park, IL. In his early years of adulthood, He finished school and married Sandra Watts of Racine, WI with her 2 sons and later having 3 sons and a girl of their own. They later divorced, then reconciled their relationship until about 10 years or so he became single in his own journey in life.

He moved throughout his life from Highland Park, IL to the upper Illinois, then moved to Iowa for a few years. They decided to move back to Illinois and settled in Zion, IL on 31st Street. They lived there for many years then moved to Beach Park, IL, for a few years. They moved on into Kenosha and settled in Racine, WI until his death.

He was known as " Ricky Dicky " or just Rick to all of his loved ones and friends. Rick loved to do many odd jobs throughout his life as a handyman, especially when he moved to Racine. In his younger adult years when he was physically able to; Rick loved to work on cars for many people around him and he was happy to teach any who was willing to learn. He was a great teacher in that. He drove for a limo company for a few years living in Zion, IL in the latter 1990's and into the early 2000's.

Rick was a very loving person and a great friend when you needed a shoulder to lean on. He was always there for people even as he was battling his own dark secrets throughout his life until his death. He sure loved his music and hanging with his own circle of friends and family in his younger adulthood years. He loved his Green Bay Packers and his Western movies and shows. He loved watching the shows on fixing up and restoring old classic cars and his detective shows, along with his oldies shows from his younger years growing up. He loved to play his Facebook games like Farmville, Candy Crush, and many others too and would play them for hours every day. He sure loved his bologna and Swiss cheese sandwiches with his Lay's chips for his late-night snack too.

In his later years he loved to be a quiet loner guy. He loved the still quiet moments in life; however, he also loved to stay in touch with his loved ones who he cherished very much in his life and the few who truly were there for him and caring for him every day, every step of the way until his passing. When he loved you, he loved you hard and with his whole heart.

Rick is survived by his sister's Candy Walsh and Diana Chapman and his brother Jimmy Colo along with Sandra English his ex. wife the mother of his children, his stepsons Ronnie and Terry Watts, his three sons Richard Watts, Joey and Jeremy "JJ" English and daughter Heather Akrid of Racine, WI.

He is preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth and Richard English along with his brother Wayne English and many of his best friends who he called "his brothers" that passed before him.

Rick will be truly missed and loved forever. Amen.
